SETAC Russian Language Branch Hosting International Conference for Young Scientists

The SETAC Russian Language Branch (SETAC RLB) is hosting Biodiagnostics and Environmental Quality Assessment: Approaches, Methods, Criteria and Reference Standards in Ecotoxicology, an international conference for young scientists, from 25–28 October in Moscow, Russia. The conference is being organized by the SETAC Russian Language Branch and Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in association with the Soil Science Department, Biology Department and Museum of Earth Science. Other groups involved in the organization of the meeting include N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution, the Russian Academy of Sciences and Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.

Young scientists and students will have the opportunity to engage in workshops and practice public speaking and other networking activities that are important in building skill sets for growing professional careers. Young scientist and student attendees will be presenting their research through platform or poster presentations. The organizers are pleased to offer this conference with no registration fees.

All participants are expected to give a platform or poster presentation in the fields of toxicology, environmental chemistry, soil science, biology or ecology. Professional training courses (workshops) will also be available. Learn new lab methods and improve your soft skills in areas such as:

  • Bioluminescent methods in ecotoxicology
  • BioLog and EcoLog –methods solution and trends laboratory
  • Phytotests instrumental methods of bioassay
  • Standard test-organisms for ecotoxicology
  • R-statistics for ecotoxicology

Publication of abstracts will be in English.
